U2's Bono performs at the Forum on May 27.
Jeff KravitzWhat's for dinner? Corned beef reuben, fries and rugelach on the house.
Leave it to Bono to make a Los Angeles waitress' night.
The U2 frontman went for a late-night meal at L.A. landmark Canters Deli on Saturday night where he was waited on by a 50-year veteran of the restaurant.
Bono left a $150 tip for the waitress, on a bill that totaled less that $20.
Canters later got a shout-out on the U2 website, which noted, "U2’s love for L.A. was proclaimed - all of L.A. - downtown, the valleys, the canyons, and its feeling of 'what might be.'"
U2 wraps a five-night run at The Forum on Friday, June 3.
